What can Charlotte do for you?

Charlotte is a lawyer in our Real Estate practice whose main focus is on Real Estate investment and landlord and tenant matters.  Charlotte acts for various higher education and private sector clients.  She manages a number of active property portfolios and acts on site acquisitions and the subsequent re-development and disposal of those sites.

Supporting your ambitions

Charlotte was part of the buy-side team that undertook due diligence and property transaction aspects of the acquisition by Swedish company Pandox of the Jurys Inn Hotel Portfolio for c.£800m and on the subsequent intra-group reorganisation.  This particular deal gained the client significant market presence in the UK and represented a huge step forward in its growth.

Charlotte is also working closely with Cambridge based Howard Group in its acquisition and re-development of Iconix Park and Sawston Trade Park to create a tech and R&D business park which is a significant investment and flagship development for the Group.

What do others say?

Charlotte has worked alongside William Jewson, Development Director at HPG Developments Limited, for a number of years who says that he is "always impressed by Charlotte's attention to detail, commercial approach and general cheerfulness, sometimes in the face of considerable pressure from a number of different directions and that her practical approach enables transactions to proceed smoothly."

What else should you know?

Charlotte really enjoys getting to know the inside workings of her client's business and has been seconded to both Trinity College, Cambridge and the University of Hertfordshire to assist in-house which has helped to strengthen and cement these client relationships and provided a better understanding of what her clients need going forward.
