What can I do for you?
I am a legal executive based in the commercial property team in Birmingham. I have dealt with a whole range of property matters in both the public and private sectors over a number of years and I now specialise in preparing and maintaining online estate terriers for large organisations (mainly national health bodies, universities and colleges).
Supporting my clients’ objectives
Over the past few years I have set up online estate terriers for a number of our NHS and higher education clients. The estate terrier is accessed via the web using a unique username and password. As it was developed in-house by our IT department it is able to offer flexibility as new features and reports may be added as and when required and according to clients’ needs.
I am able to assist my clients in obtaining their objectives regarding property management by ensuring that property information is collated and summarised quickly and accurately. A number of personnel within a client’s organisation can have access to the terrier at any one time so that the information is shared, resulting in savings on time and costs.
It is rewarding to know that a number of my clients access their estate terrier each day; whether it be to check rent review provisions or break clauses in a lease, to obtain copies of plans or to run off reports.
What do others say?
This is a quote I received following the set up of an estate terrier for Leicester University:
“Making the Terrier available online has considerably reduced the number of requests to our lawyers for documents and has helped identify missing information. Since the system is hosted by our lawyers it is more reliable and less time consuming than maintaining the data ourselves. The Terrier is also now available as a reliable source of base information to a number of different staff within the organisation at the same time.”
