Corporate responsibility

A demonstrable commitment to corporate responsibility is a critical part of the Mills & Reeve vision. We focus on four key areas to make sure our ambition becomes a reality.

Pro bono

Many worthwhile causes and community projects need legal advice but don't have the money or access to funding to pay for it. To help, we support a variety of projects by providing our time and skills to charities and not-for-profit groups.

Community

Our people have skills and energy that can make a real difference to the communities we’re based in. By working alongside local charities, schools and not-for-profit groups and belonging to organisations like Business in the Community, we’re able to focus our efforts and resources for the greatest impact.

Environment

We’ve taken significant steps to improve our environmental performance. This includes reducing our energy consumption, recycling and reusing, promoting sustainable travel and procurement.

Charitable giving

Our Charitable Trust supports causes ranging from Community Foundations through to match funding and donations for group and individual fundraising events. We have recently supported Anna Turney, who was selected to represent Great Britain in the 2010 Vancouver Paralympics. Staff across the firm are also enthusiastic fundraisers as well participants in Workplace Giving.
