Description
All NHS bodies and private contractors for NHS services have an obligation to "have regard to" the NHS Constitution, a collection of the rights, pledges principles and values that underpin the work of the NHS, but what does this mean for your organisation?
In this workshop we will explore the legal meaning of the duty to have regard to the Constitution and work through some practical examples of how the Constitution could affect the decisions you take and even how you take them.
This workshop will be most relevant to NHS boards, Company Secretaries and those whose day-to-day responsibilities involve taking decisions about NHS services or resource allocation.
