E-commerce

Your challenges

The world of e-commerce is constantly changing. To adapt with it, you need adaptive lawyers with the experience to address the challenges a changing business environment entails. We not only have experience, but we aim to stay ahead of the game in this dynamic environment.

Achieving your ambitions

Whatever your requirements, we are well placed to help. We have advised a number of clients in all areas of e-commerce, from internet sales and publishing through to mobile content delivery and advice relating to the internet and websites.

We’ve helped clients out with website development agreements, web hosting arrangements, website and internet service provider terms and conditions and online terms of trade. We have also negotiated and advised on interactive online service delivery and collaboration, content delivery platforms and legislative and regulatory issues relating to the same.

We regularly advise clients on data protection, privacy, accessibility and security. We’ve been able to help out a multinational financial company with cyber and typo squatters with our experience of dealing with domain name disputes. We’ve advised online publishers and websites with user-generated content on liability for defamation arising from blogs, forums, chat rooms, posting boards and associated media.
