What can I do for you?

I am a specialist family solicitor and joined Mills & Reeve in 2001.

I have experience in all aspects of family and matrimonial matters and advise clients on a wide range of issues which include divorce, financial provision and cohabitation disputes. I act for a wide range of clients, and recent cases have included large assets cases involving property, businesses, family trusts and asset tracing.

I also have experience of a wide range of cases concerning children to include contact, residence and schooling.

Supporting my clients’ aims and objectives

I am known for providing advice that gets to the heart of the matter – and in a clear and accessible way. I will work with you to achieve the best outcome possible and will give you clear guidance at the outset as to how matters may progress and what the potential outcome may be.

What do others say?

We are very proud of our family team at Mills & Reeve and were delighted when this was recognised at the Legal Business Awards, where we won Private Client Team of the Year 2009. We pride ourselves on giving excellent clear advice tailored to the individual needs of our clients. In addition, Chambers UK describes us as “becoming a truly national player for family matters” whilst “clients appreciate the team’s practical, problem-solving approach and suggest that this is one way in which Mills & Reeve differentiates itself from its competitors”.

On a personal level, previous clients have said:

“I want to thank you again, so much, for all your help and support … I certainly could not have survived such a long, frustrating battle without your calm reassurance.”

“I have really appreciated your non-confrontational approach to all this … Your considerate approach really helps.”

What else should you know?

I am the training officer for Cambridge and West Suffolk Resolution, which involves organising training and social events for colleagues and the judiciary in the region. I established Young Resolution in Cambridge which organises training and social events for solicitors and other legal professionals with less than six years’ post qualification experience. I am also a committee member of the National Skills and Support Committee for Resolution.

I also act as a legal adviser as part of Free Legal Advice Group (FLAG) aims to provide a legal advice service for those individuals who require legal advice but who would not otherwise be able to access or afford it and appointments are arranged through the citizens advice bureau in Cambridge.

Within my team, we also run a website called www.divorce.co.uk which offers free advice to individuals on all aspects of relationship breakdown.
