What can I do for you?

I’m the marketing and business development director for the firm. This means being responsible for client service, communications, events and business development. If you’re a client of the firm, you’ll have had some contact with my team. You might be getting newsletters updating you on changes to the law or an invitation to an event to discuss a key topic in your sector. You might even be reading what one of our lawyers has to say about a current news story in the FT! We help to make this happen within the firm.

Supporting our clients

A key part of my role is ensuring that we do deliver outstanding client service. One of the ways of finding whether we are is by speaking with you to find out what you want from our lawyers and how we’re delivering against your expectations. We have regular client service reviews, run transaction debriefs after major projects and also get feedback on any pitch or tender that we do. And this is on top of a regular client survey – over the last 12 months we’ve spoken with over 400 clients to hear what they think about us. From this, we have a pretty good idea about what you want. Our lawyers then ensure that you get it.

The feedback that we get from clients is always rewarding – we’ve helped keep you up to date or think about a topic in a different way or have helped improve our service to you.

What else should you know?

I belong to PSMG and PM Forum, professional services organisations that focus on ensuring best practice in business development and marketing. I also belong to alumni networks for Tesco, Whitbread and Ernst & Young that brings in thinking from very different sectors, which helps us in the delivery of our services to you.
