The strength you need
Our team working for local authorities and central government includes 15 partners and 30 lawyers. They will cover anything from routine property work (basic management, licences, rent reviews, landlord and tenant) to non-routine property work including high value landlord and tenant work, development and infrastructure projects, overage, strategic land options, JVs and partnering with RSLs and developers, CPO, all aspects of contentious and non-contentious construction, property litigation and health and safety. We can also draw on the wider public sector team for procurement and governance advice as well as the use of tax driven vehicles.
We have acted for over 80 county, unitary, metropolitan, London Borough and district councils, the fire and police authorities. At a central government level we act for RDAs and other centrally funded government bodies such as EEDA, Defence Estates, the Environment Agency and the British Library.
