Description
The seminar will consider the responsibilities of clients, contractors and sub contractors, to safely manage health and safety risks on construction sites and extent of the criminal and contractual sanctions that can follow injuries to workers or third parties. We will specifically consider the Sentencing Guidelines Council guidance on sentencing in respect of workplace fatalities from both a corporate and individual perspective. The seminar will also consider the latest developments relating to the statutory offence of corporate manslaughter.
