What can I do for you?
I am a specialist family lawyer with a pragmatic but sensitive approach to helping my clients through relationship breakdown, and advise both married and unmarried clients. I am also able to assist those considering pre or post-nuptial, or living together, agreements, as well as helping them with issues relating to children, both nationally and internationally. As part of the largest family team in the country, and member of Resolution, I am keen to find solutions that work for my clients and their families, and to avoid the stress of litigation if possible. However, where the needs of my clients require it I deal efficiently with all aspects of proceedings in the family courts.
Supporting my clients’ objectives
I am able to call on expertise from colleagues across the firm to tailor the service I, and the rest of the team, can offer to our clients. For example when drafting pre or post-nuptial agreements I liaise closely with our tax and trusts experts to ensure my clients’ assets are protected in the most tax efficient way. In cases involving businesses, properties or farms, I work closely with my corporate, real estate or agricultural colleagues to ensure the issues of importance to my clients are dealt with in a joined-up way so as to maximise their worth following the divorce.
I am a trained collaborative lawyer which means I can offer my clients an alternative to the traditional court based approach to resolving family disputes.
