He has also worked on several high profile matters, including executive level terminations, discrimination and whistleblowing claims. Stuart is based in the Cambridge office.
Michelle was a partner with the real estate team from 1987 to 1994, before taking a career break to raise a family, and rejoining the firm as a consultant in 2007. She has worked on several key cases in the real estate sector including the development and expansion of Addenbrooke’s Hospital and other land assembly schemes setting up joint ventures and negotiating complex infrastructure agreements. Michelle has also worked on projects linked to real estate issues in the further education field advising a Cambridge college and a university on site expansion and student accommodation. Michelle is also based in Cambridge.
Guy Hinchley, managing partner, said: “Stuart and Michelle have both pioneered work in their individual fields and we are extremely pleased to promote them to partnership today. The real estate and healthcare sectors are key to the firm’s development plan to 2012 and beyond, and these promotions underline our ongoing commitment to excellence in these areas.”
