Following a highly competitive public sector tender involving a shortlist of 31 law firms, national firm Mills & Reeve has been awarded one of only 18 places on the full commercial panel of the Catalist Legal Services Framework. The framework, set up by OGCbuying.solutions, the trading arm of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), is worth an estimated £240 million over the four-year lifetime of the contract.
The full commercial panel includes the following seven individual commercial legal panels: IT, telecommunications & e-commerce; property & estates; construction; employment & pensions; corporate & finance; intellectual property.
Commenting on the agreement, Treasury Solicitor Paul Jenkins said: "Framework Agreements have been awarded to firms who could demonstrate competitive rates as well as an ability to provide high quality professional services."
