Mills & Reeve is very pleased to announce that it has been shortlisted for "Regional Firm of the Year" in the British Legal Awards 2007.
Leading legal journal Legal Week, has vowed to boost the profile of the profession with these new awards, and says that a key part of this is by ensuring an independent and rigorous judging process.
The heavyweight judging panel brings together senior business figures from the City and beyond. They include Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive of WPP, Guy Dawson, founding partner of investment banking boutique Tricorn Partners, and Jeremy Hand, the vice chairman of the British Venture Capital Association. Joining them are several former lawyers who have taken on senior business roles and leading general counsel.
The other firms shortlisted are Anderson Fyfe, Brodies, Michelmores, Pannone and TLT. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Old Billingsgate Market on Wednesday 28 November by host Jimmy Carr.
