We are delighted to announce our appointment to the LUPC panel.
LUPC is a professional purchasing organisation that acts on behalf of over 60 major institutions from the higher education, further education, cultural and research sectors in and around London.
The collaborative procurement agreement is one of the largest of its kind in the public sector and is estimated to be worth up to £30 million over a three year period. It will cover eight specialist Lots, including employment, commercial, education and student matters and medical, and a ninth "One Stop Shop" Lot for Members that wish to engage a single firm to provide all their legal service requirements.
Mills & Reeve is the only one of thirteen successful firms to have been appointed to provide legal advice across all eight of the identified specialist Lots and the One Stop Shop Lot.
Commenting on the appointment, Neil Burton, Mills & Reeve said:
“We are delighted to have been formally appointed to the LUPC’s panel and moreover to have the opportunity to provide legal counsel across all of the Lots.
“We believe that our experience in providing services to each of the specialist sectors in which the LUPC members operate means that we are well positioned to provide strategic legal advice and to help Members stay on top of the very wide range of legal issues facing them in an increasingly complex environment.”
