What can I do for you?
I’m a solicitor in the corporate team. My work includes advising early stage and fast growth businesses with their constitution, fundraisings and growth strategies, often in the field of university spin-outs. I also work with investment funds, providing advice on their portfolio companies, and with project managers, advising on the funding aspects of city academy projects.
Supporting my clients’ ambitions
I really enjoy acting for start-up or university spin-out companies, particularly in relation to their fundraising. It’s often their first experience in the corporate world and I find it rewarding to know that we’ve helped them raise the finance they need to move to the next stage of development or bring their product to market. We recently advised on an investment in a spin-out from the University of Bristol in the field of regenerative medicine products and therapies. Securing this funding means the company can now progress towards the first clinical trial of its technology.
