He deals with strategies and problems arising in mixed use development schemes, shopping centres, development sites concerning tenants, third parties claiming interests and has obtained injunctions against various protestor groups.

Richard is partially sighted and spent his educational career at schools for the visually impaired. He was the co-founder of Blind In Business Charitable Trust (which works to bridge the gap between education and employment through the use of technology) and is currently co-chair of the board of trustees of the Norfolk & Norwich Association for the Blind.
