Richard works extensively as a real estate lawyer in the education, charity, government and not-for-profit sectors helping them with their operational estates, development projects and investment properties. Richard has particular experience of helping clients manage the complex issues surrounding major operational premises relocation as well as working with clients to improve their existing premises.
Supporting my clients' ambitions
Richard worked with the University of Northampton to help them achieve their ambition of creating a brand new university campus fit for the 21st century. The project has lasted for six years and required the acquisition of a new site, planning permission for a new university, funding and the disposal of the old site. Using the combination of his knowledge of the education sector, charity law and property development experience together with a pragmatic and commercial approach helped the University through a unique and complex series of transactions to achieve its aim.
