I am a specialist family lawyer with over 24 years’ experience. I am solution based so I hope that my experience will help you in achieving a cost effective and fair outcome to your difficulties. I have helped and advised a range of private individuals in all aspects of relationship breakdown whether divorce, separation or issues relating to children. I am a trained collaborative lawyer which is a method of resolving family disputes without involving the court.
My work also includes the preparation of pre/post-marital agreements and the preparation of cohabitation contacts.
Supporting my clients’ objectives
All clients and cases are different and the aims or objectives of each client can differ enormously. Whereas one client might be focused on leaving the marriage with a certain level of assets and income, another might be more focused on achieving an outcome that is overall in the best interests of the family moving forward. However most clients wish to reach a negotiated settlement and I do believe that the best outcome is one which is agreed rather than the court imposing a decision. Some cases may settle through negotiation or collaborative law and others may need the involvement of the court but most of my cases do settle and the advice given throughout is always with a view to achieving the best outcome.
A substantial amount of my work comes from people whom I have previously acted for recommending me.

I belong to Resolution which is an organisation of specialist family lawyers which promotes a code of practice aimed at the constructive resolution of family disputes. I am a Resolution accredited specialist family lawyer with a particular specialism in private law children cases and complex financial matters. I am also a member of the Cambridge Collaborative Family Law Group.
