What can I do for you?
I lead the agriculture and estates team in our Norwich office and have been advising farmers and landowners for over 20 years. I deal with all sorts of issues involving rural property, including sales and purchases of estates and land and Agricultural Holdings Act and farm business tenancies.
Supporting my clients
With many farmers in my family, I understand the nature of farming businesses and the issues of concern to those in the rural and farming community. I enjoy working with new clients and those that I have known for many years and I am pleased that, by working with my colleagues across the firm, we are able to provide them with a top quality service in all of the areas in which they may need advice. Sales of farms and estates often involve, for example, tax, employment, and planning issues alongside the usual transfer of the land, subsidies and environmental schemes.
What do others say?
Our team is recognised by both Chambers UK and Legal 500 as the largest in the region. Chambers says: “With the biggest agricultural practice in the region, this team provides ‘first-rate and extremely efficient service’ to its national client base”. Clients describe us as friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.
What else should you know?
I am pleased to be able to combine my work with living in, and being part of, a rural community. I am a member of the Agricultural Law Association (ALA).
