Sarah is a principal associate, specialising in advising her clients on the drafting and negotiation of commercial contracts and data protection matters. Sarah is a member of the Mills & Reeve sports law team and regularly advises clubs, players, managers and agents on image rights deals and commercial sponsorship agreements. Sarah also works with clients in the technology sector.
Supporting your ambitions
Sarah has completed a secondment at Manchester City Football Club's in-house legal team. This gave her a fantastic insight into working alongside the client in their business and she was able to understand the client’s commercial and legal needs from the perspective of their business.
Sarah heads up The Equaliser, a bespoke sports law package to help support growth and level the playing field for women in sport. The Equaliser supports sportswomen at all levels from grassroots to elite athletes, sporting teams, governing bodies and brands investing in women’s sport.

Sarah was named in the 2022 North-West Legal 500 as a specialist in commercial contracts and data protection law within sport, and data protection and technology licensing arrangements for IT providers.
The Mills & Reeve sports team won the Business and Professional Services to Football Award at the Ladbrokes Northwest Football Awards 2019.

Sarah is a member of Women in Sports Law and Pro-Manchester’s Sports Industry Steering Group.
Sarah also has a particular interest in the advancement of women in the technology sector. She launched Inspiring Women in Technology in 2019, a series of events to inspire and encourage women in tech.
Sarah is a keen runner, gym member and avid football fan.
