Description
We are all familiar with dealing with the raft of family friendly policies such as requests for flexible working, time off for dependants and parental, maternity, paternity and adoption leave. With proposals to further extend these rights in the pipeline, with a possible change in Government and faced with our workforces getting busier and asked to take on new responsibilities, this session will look at the tensions which sometimes arise and how some employers are taking steps to address this. We will also look at a number of specific issues which continue to exercise us such as dealing with requests to work part time on the return from maternity leave.
