What does the role involve?

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Associates (NQ-3 years PQE) to join the team on a permanent basis.  You will provide a wide range of general and specialist insurance coverage and claims defence advice requiring an understanding of the London insurance market, coverage and policy interpretation as well as possessing good dispute resolution skills.You will ideally have some experience of the insurance market (but not essential) as well as up to date pre-action and litigation procedure knowledge.

Areas of work are:

A large part of the work we do, and on which you will be asked to assist, is defending construction professional indemnity claims, including architects, engineers, design & build contractors and other construction professionals.Other professional indemnity claims, including solicitors, barristers, accountants and brokers.  We also have a rapidly growing cyber, fraud, D&O and political risks practice.

What experience is required?

You will be NQ-3 years qualified. If above 2 years PQE, you will have a good background in the above insurance areas in which we practice.

What skills and attributes would I need?


 We are looking for someone who has good academics, excellent written English and ability to produce clear, logical drafting and good numeracy. We are also looking for someone who is a problem solver and who thinks laterally. You will also have effective time and matter management and a systematic approach to work as well as being a proactive team player.
