The firm's 2025 strategy for our national Real Estate Group will envisage substantial growth and development for our Birmingham real estate practice.  This is an opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor to play significant part in helping to achieve those goals. You will provide a wide range of general and specialised non-contentious commercial property advice.  The work will involve a mixture of sole conduct of matters and assisting partners and principal associates (our most senior lawyer level below partner) on larger property (or property related) transactions.  Our clients are many and varied ranging across the private and public sectors.  Work types cover the full spectrum of property transactions you would expect to find at a firm where real estate work is a key driver in its continuing success.  The nature of the work and the clients concerned encourages the development of long lasting and fulfilling relationships with both clients and their agents. The Birmingham Real Estate team has particular strengths in, and a focus on, giving the full range of commercial property advice to universities, further education colleges, academies, healthcare institutions and corporate occupiers.  The team also works closely with our Corporate and Commercial Group and provides real estate support and advice to that Group on corporate and banking transactions.  The role will involve working across these work types.  There may also be the opportunity to help grow new and emerging sectors, and the team will look to support your own ambitions. You will work with lawyers in construction, planning, real estate disputes, tax, corporate, environmental and procurement as well as lawyers in the cross office Real Estate Group.  This is an exciting time to join an established and well-regarded team, where we put teamwork, innovation and expertise at the heart of what we do.
