The role

We are looking for two Associates to join our national Real Estate team based in our Cambridge office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team working closely with our clients on significant real estate investment portfolios. You will work with partners and senior lawyers focused on providing a top tier service on high-profile real estate led transactions. Our clients are institutional investors, property companies, developers, family offices, Universities and Oxbridge Colleges and corporate occupiers. You will be offered the chance to work on a wide range of commercial property matters.  Work types cover the full spectrum of property transactions you would expect to find at a firm where real estate work is a key driver in its continuing success. The nature of our work and our clients encourages the development of long lasting and fulfilling relationships with both clients and their agents and other advisors. You will be involved in investment sales/purchases, landlord and tenant matters and development projects. This is an exciting time to join an established and well-regarded team, known for our collaboration, innovation and excellent client service.

The person

You will be between 0-2 years PQE with hands-on real estate experience in investment, asset management and development work either as a trainee or post qualification. We are also looking for someone with good academics and who is technically strong. We require excellent written English for drafting purposes and good attention to detail. You will be a self-starter with common sense and initiative and have good time and file management skills.  You will have the ability to build good working relationships with clients and potential clients and have excellent interpersonal and team skills, including ability to work with others, influence and persuade.
