What does the role involve?
We are looking for a commercial solicitor to join our leading national commercial team, to undertake a wide range of work including advice on commercial contracts, outsourcing; projects, IT agreements, intellectual property, data protection and public procurement. This role can be based in any office except London.Depending on your level of experience, you will either assist the partners in the CIPIT Team or work on your own matters which include drafting and negotiating a wide range of licence agreements, commercial contracts, including standard terms and conditions, outsourcing agreements, distributorship and agency agreements, website terms of use and privacy policies, supply contracts and joint venture agreements. You will also be advising on intellectual property ownership issues, life sciences, data protection and public procurement strategy and documentation. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in projects, the commercial elements of corporate deals, contentious IP matters, and assist colleagues with commercial work for our health, education and technology sector clients.Why should I apply?

You will have 3+ years post qualification experience gained in a large regional, national or international firm. You will have excellent technical skills in commercial law with a strong interest in IP, IT and information law. You will be a commercially-minded lawyer, who is prepared to turn your hand to a wide range of work.What skills and attributes would I need?
