The role

This is a permanent role (32.5 hour week) within the Real Estate Document Production team and we are ideally looking for the hours between  1pm and 8pm or 2pm and 9pm, Monday to Friday to be covered.This role reports to the Executive Support Manager or Executive Support Team Leader and is responsible for creating, amending and finalising high quality documents using various IT packages.This role will work alongside our Document Production Specialists to provide an integral service to the Cambridge Office, which primarily supports our Real Estate  National Service Line as well as working closely with Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants to provide outstanding client service to the lawyers.A typical day would be:Assessing, managing and prioritising own work flowPreparing initial drafts, amending and engrossing complex, lengthy documentsDigital transcription, copy typing including documents, correspondence, emails, minutes, presentations, tendersReformatting into house stylePreparing document comparisons using bespoke packagesProof reading

The person

This is a busy and challenging role and to be successful your background will probably include:Experience in a similar role, such as a Document Assistant/Specialist or Legal SecretaryExperience of working with complex documents on various IT packagesExcellent Microsoft Office skills, in particular Word and good experience of Outlook, PowerPoint and ExcelAt least 5 GCSEs at Grade 4 (formally Grade C) or above to include mathematics and English (or equivalent)In addition, the role requires someone who:Is able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levelsHas excellent planning and organization skills and remains calm under pressureHas the ability to work as part of a team and establishes good working relationships at all levelsKeen interest in the role and responsibility of a Document Production Specialist at Mills & ReeveHas excellent presentational and attention to detail skillsPositive can do attitude/willing to learnProvides outstanding client service at all times.
