The role

Hours will vary between 07.30 and 18.00, but your core hours will be 7 hours a day, 35 hours a week. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the facilities team and take responsibility for all questions and queries. You will also ensure that staff and partners have access to a comprehensive and high quality facilities service which provides outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.

The person

The role requires someone who is self-managed and confident in setting and prioritising their own work agenda. It is expected you will have a flexible approach to work and your working hours, you will be a team player who is able to work under limited supervision. You will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate that you can convey complex matters in a way that different audiences can understand. You are confident and will be able to build sustainable relationships with clients, lawyers and internal colleagues. You are also organised and methodical in how you approach your work. You have excellent attention to detail and are able to maintain confidentiality. You remain calm under pressure and have the ability to think on your feet and problem solve.

Your experience

Given the challenges of this role, it is likely that your background and experience will include working within an office and a front of house, client services, reprographics, facilities or mailroom role. You will also have good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word (Windows 2010). You will have at least 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) including C grade or above in English and Mathematics or NVQ Business Administration or equivalent.
