This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven senior communications executive to join our award winning team and help to plan, produce and deliver engaging, results driven content and campaigns.  If you like pushing boundaries with campaigns and content then this is the role for you as Mills & Reeve regularly win marketing innovation awards for their work. Joining a comms team, and wider marketing team, that is highly respected within the business you will have the opportunity to play a leading role in developing firmwide and sector-led content and campaigns. The demand for internal and external comms support within the business is incredibly high. No two days are the same and you will certainly not get bored! This is a role requiring a strategic approach, openness to innovation and a willingness to be hands-on. The right candidate will have practical experience of providing effective communications both internally and externally within a B2B or professional services environment.

Who will I be working with?

You will be an integral part of the wider comms team and report to the Head of Communications. You will also work very closely with our wider marketing team, including technology, knowledge learning and development as well as our internal lawyers and external marketing and design agencies.

The person

The following are felt to be essential for the role:

A university degree or equivalent qualification in marketing, communications, business or technology. Excellent level of written English, mindful of the audience targeting. Strong attention to detail. Experience of managing PR and design agencies. Experience of Kentico or similar CMS.Experience using CRM databases (such as InterAction and SalesForce). Experience of using Canva, InDesign or other similar design tools. Evidence of relevant social media in a corporate environment, together with video content and podcasts. Ability to prioritise with strong organisational skills to manage often conflicting deadlines.

The following are felt to be desirable for the role:

A marketing qualification. Basic HTML skills.

Deliver engaging content. Effective communication of the firm‘s image. Enhance the firm‘s social media presence. Enhance content on the main firm website. Maximise internal comms. Strong support to the BD and other marketing teams. Assistance with managing communications expenditure.
