What does the role involve?
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to be trained and developed into a leading probate practitioner. There will also be the opportunity to study for further qualifications.
You will assist the team in Birmingham, as well as the wider private client team, who advise a range of clients, specialising in probate work and estate administration on a wide variety of matters including, all aspects of finalising a person's estate, including;
- applications for grants of representation
- inheritance tax calculations
- dealing with the administration of estates
- the distribution of assets and dealing with trusts under a will
Typically we act for wealthy families and individuals, business people and landowners.

What experience is required?
You do not need to have experience in dealing with probate matters, however experience in working in an office environment would be preferred.
What skills and attributes would I need?
- Excellent written English and ability to produce clear, logical drafting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time and matter management and a systematic approach to work
- IT literacy
- Attention to detail.
- Legal or Accounting qualification, or equivalent
