Event description

Registration is open for April's join Conversations with Entrepreneurs webinar with Advantage Creative aimed at digital and creative businesses in the Midlands region.

This month, our event will focus on the Clean Tech sector and explore how the West Midlands is equipped to capitalise on the hydrogen economy - set to grow to a global market of $11 Trillion by 2050.

Under the spotlight will be Dr Michaela Kendall, CEO and co-founder of fuel cell pioneers Adelan, one of the world’s first fuel cell businesses and it is based in Birmingham. Over a 30-year career, she has secured significant international funding, working with powerful strategic policy and technical networks vital to low carbon business. In this interview, we will hear Michaela’s views on how the West Midlands might best lever its skills, technology and resources in advanced manufacturing to position itself at the crux of the low carbon economy.

Michaela will be interviewed by Joel Blake OBE, a multi-award-winning businessman and speaker, with a passion for accelerating inclusive business support. He is the Founder of award-winning fintech, The GFA Exchange, a portfolio risk management platform that helps financial services firms identify which of their customers are likely to grow, or not and why.

Outside of his own business, he is President of the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce, Board Director of two organisations, and a Fellow of the National Centre for Entrepreneurs. He was awarded an OBE for Services to Business and Enterprise in 2016.
