Life Sciences Legal Forum

Our life sciences legal forums consider relevant topics for those in and around the legal function within life sciences organisations. The aim of these sessions is to share thoughts on the legal and practical implications of particular topics. We will continue to run these forums online but with plenty of time for questions and feedback. The agenda and timings for the next session is set out below and we hope that you can join us!

Event description

A case law update – we’ll review the recent Regeneron case which went all the way to the UK Supreme Court and its impact upon patenting strategy for life sciences businesses. We’ll look in some detail at the risk of filing too early when there is limited technical contribution.

Many of our clients are using digital and AI technologies to complement or develop other products, such as in combination with a drug asset or as an app or software as a medical device. We will look at a number of the regulatory issues around the development and commercialisation of digital products in the life sciences sector.

This is aimed at all levels of in-house legal and contract staff working in the life sciences sector, together with those responsible for managing the legal function, licensing executives and contract managers.
