Mills & Reeve enjoys Experian rankings high

Mills & Reeve’s corporate team is ranked in 3rd place in the latest Experian UK rankings.

The team has enjoyed a successful year, which has allowed them to rise to third place in the most active M&A legal advisers, based on deal volume across the UK.

Across the firm’s seven offices, the corporate team has worked on deals including advising heritage rural company Strutt & Parker (Farms) on the sale of its business, acting on the sale of fish and chip chain Harry Ramsden and advising a listed French IT server manufacturer on its acquisition of a 70% stake in UK-based Boston Limited as part of its international expansion.

James Hunter, head of the corporate team at Mills & Reeve, said: “What is most important about achieving this ranking is that it gives our lawyers really excellent experience and insight into the market, so we can pass on that knowledge and expertise to our clients who want to use lawyers who have seen an issue before.”

Regionally the Mills & Reeve team is ranked for the first time in the North West in fifth place, as well as retaining first place in East Anglia. It is ranked ninth in Yorkshire and Humberside, while in London the team rose four positions to eighth.
