We've been named as supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s Legal Panel for Government agreement

We have again been named as a supplier on CCS’s Legal Panel for Government agreement (RM6360) on Lot 1 – Legal Services.

The new agreement provides comprehensive legal services across a wide range of specialisms to support government projects, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. It will cover core legal needs, complex litigation, high-risk and innovative initiatives, major infrastructure and financial matters, and international trade and investment issues.

Lot 1 – Legal Services requires a full-service capability across a wide range of mandatory legal specialisms to meet the government’s core legal service demands. It is designed to support buyers by providing general legal advice necessary for project delivery and addressing various legal issues. Our continued presence as a supplier on Lot 1 enables them to provide comprehensive full-service legal support on government projects.

Greg Gibson, partner and head of the government sector, commented: “Working for government clients is a key strategic priority for Mills & Reeve. We have been named on CCS’s Legal Panel for Government frameworks for many years and have built strong relationships with our government clients. Our lawyers really enjoy the combination of law, policy, and politics involved in working on government projects.

“Being named on Lot 1 of the new CCS legal panel agreement is a significant testimony of our work. It reflects the strength of our collaborative, cross-office approach and our longstanding commitment to supporting government clients on some of the UK’s most complex and high-profile legal matters.”

Our government clients include the Ministry of Defence, the Department for Education, the Department for Work and Pensions, the Government Legal Department, Homes England, the Insolvency Service, the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs and the Department of Health & Social Care.

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2023/24, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £4.9 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
