Next generation lawyers show future is bright for Mills & Reeve

We have enjoyed another stellar performance in the first of this year’s UK legal directories, The Legal 500, with our real strength in depth reflected with the introduction of a new “next generation lawyer” category.

As well as 44 top-tier practice area rankings, including new entries for our Birmingham family and Leeds professional negligence teams, 17 of our associates were named as “next generation lawyers”.

Clare Clarke, Mills & Reeve managing partner, said: “It’s particularly pleasing to see so many of our junior lawyers have been recognised this year.  We work really hard to grow talent from within by providing the right support and training.  As our clients grow their businesses, they need lawyers and legal support that grows with them.  The fact that we have so many “next generation lawyers” recognised shows that our investment in our people is paying dividends.”

Each year, The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners rank law firms from around the UK using feedback from clients and peers to judge legal disciplines.  The resulting directories help prospective clients rate the quality of the advice and individual lawyers in each practice area.
