What can Harriet do for you?
Harriet is a disputes lawyer, having qualified in 1980. She helps clients in all types of disputes; complex contract, partnership and shareholder disputes. She aims to achieve a satisfactory resolution with least cost and hassle.
Harriet also developed a specialism in alcohol and entertainment licensing since 1998. She advises clients in a huge range of industries with differing licensing needs.
Supporting your ambitions
A significant highlight of Harriet's was to achieve together with a large industrial client the favourable settlement of an international multi party contract dispute, avoiding time consuming and expensive litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
On the licensing front, with three major pieces of legislation, the Licensing Act, the Gambling Act and the Private Security Industry Act, the fundamental concepts and procedures of licensing have become more complex. Harriet aims to help clients understand licensing legislation and minimise risk by reviewing their licensing position and providing specialist legal advice to ensure they obtain and maintain licenses that are integral to their business.
