Kate advises on all aspects of construction and engineering law and works closely with client teams. Kate has experience of the JCT, NEC3, NEC4 and ICHEME forms of contracts. She regularly advises on both adjudications and court proceedings for clients as well as methods of dispute management to prevent matters from reaching this point.
Supporting your ambitions
Kate advises on complex disputes and often becomes involved with the client team early on to assist the client in resolving the matter without recourse to adjudication or court proceedings. Kate also advises on the drafting and management of FM Contracts for a wide range of sites, including student accommodation, government and NHS Projects.
Recently Kate has been advising freeholders on the construction contracts for remedial works required to remove ACM and Non-ACM cladding. Kate also acts on disputes relating to cladding and is currently acting for a client defending a multi-party cladding claim
