James is a paralegal in the Projects and Construction team, specialising in real estate projects. He is starting a training contract with Mills & Reeve in September 2022.
Supporting my clients' ambitions
James supports on complex property transactions, focusing on healthcare, student accommodation and government sectors. He carries out in-depth due diligence, provides legal but practical advice and drafts and negotiates project and construction documentation.
What else should you know?
James is interested in environmental, social and governance (ESG) and has written blog posts on topics such as hydrogen and electric vehicles, both in the context of the UK's net zero strategy.
Outside of work, James enjoys music and sport. He plays trombone and is a long-suffering supporter of Sunderland AFC.
