What can I do for you?
Having joined our commercial disputes team in September 2009, my work covers a wide range of commercial dispute resolution. Some examples of the areas of work that I deal with are advising on general breach of contract claims, breach of directors' duties, defective goods purchased through hire-purchase agreements, negotiating settlements and advising on insolvency matters, as well as providing general commercial advice.
Supporting my clients’ aims
One of the highlights since being a member of the team has been the opportunity to be involved with defending a multimillion-pound breach of warranty claim. Being part of a team that is delivering high quality advice to the client within the tight time frames set makes the late nights worthwhile! The team effort and the time being put in really does underline for me the commitment that the firm has to client service. We really mean what we say!
What do others say?
It is great to be part of a team that has been described by Chambers UK as "a first rate practice" and clients have commented on my ability to make them always feel "well supported" throughout the resolution of their dispute. The team also has a reputation for having a “sensible, pragmatic, commercial approach and an in-depth knowledge” of dispute resolution.
What else should you know?
I am an advisor for The Free Legal Advice Group (FLAG) in Cambridge which works with the Citizens Advice Bureau to provide free legal advice to members of the community who require legal advice but are unable to access or afford it.
