Procurement specific issues for primary care providers

Since 1 January 2024, the commissioning of NHS Healthcare Services has been regulated by the Provider Selection Regime. It applies to healthcare services with most primary care services in scope of the regime, including primary medical services. 

In our next article in our In focus in primary care series, we look at the Provider Selection Regime’s new commissioning routes and primary care specific issues that will be of interest to primary care providers (particularly GPs, Primary Care Networks and GP provider organisations) and commissioning bodies alike.
