I keep the litigators up-to-date with written briefings and seminars on the latest legal developments and give workshops to improve skills such as drafting. With over 100 litigation specialists, we are one of the largest and most experienced civil litigation practices in the UK. Our lawyers discuss points of law and tactics with me, enabling them to provide prompt, thorough and practical advice to our clients.
Supporting our clients
We think it is vital to share the knowledge developed by our professional support lawyers with our clients. My litigation and insurance updates are emailed to clients and I edit our quarterly insurance publication Covernote. I am closely involved in the seminar programme we run for insurance clients in our London office, recently speaking about limitation defences in claims against professionals, as well as in giving and preparing other seminars for clients on topics such as costs and privilege.

What else should you know?
Before joining Mills & Reeve I practised as a barrister in a commercial set of chambers in London for 11 years. I am also a CEDR accredited mediator. As a result, I’m able to draw on a wide experience of advocacy in different courts, tribunals and arbitration when advising and training the firm’s litigators.
