We are delighted to announce our fifth partner hire of the year by welcoming Paul Spibey to our London insurance team
Paul joins after 14 years with Kennedys, where he was a partner for the last 10 years. He specialises in defending claims against financial institutions and will be based in our London office where he will spearhead the development of a new financial institutions practice.
Neil Davis, insurance team leader in London, commented: “The insurance team has grown significantly this year and Paul’s appointment will enhance our national reputation and diversify our range of services to the insurance market.”
Insurance teams across the firm have been expanding in recent years. For example, the Northern team based in Leeds and Manchester has doubled in size in the last two years, with legal staff growing from eight to 16.
This appointment comes shortly after Chambers UK named us as one of the top five firms in the UK based on the number of top tier rankings it achieved. The firm’s insurance and professional indemnity practice was one of many that stood out for praise.
