Emma has experience of conducting appeals against decisions of the Information Commissioner’s Office on behalf of public authorities in the Information Tribunal, both at the First-Tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal levels. Emma’s knowledge and expertise has enabled her to assist clients in avoiding being required to disclose commercially sensitive information to “the world at large” under information law. This has been crucial to clients’ ongoing competitive advantage and standing, since disclosure of such information would have had serious adverse consequences. By using her legal and commercial acumen, Emma has worked with clients to achieve the result they seek.
