What can I do for you?
I specialise in helping clients with their commercial disputes. My expertise covers a range of areas, including warranty and contractual claims, procurement disputes, professional negligence and intellectual property. I represent clients in litigation and other forms of dispute resolution such as mediation.
Supporting my clients’ objectives
Examples of how I help my clients achieve their objectives include:
- representing a FTSE listed client in connection with a multiparty fraud claim, and successfully resolving the matter through mediation
- helping various public bodies respond to challenges to their procurement decisions, often in connection with multimillion-pound contracts
- assisting a multinational sportswear company secure the destruction of several thousand golf clubs that infringed its registered designs
- enabling a corporate client to recover a substantial sum from its former tax adviser
Explaining the options and cost implications to my clients in clear terms is central to my work.
What do others say?
Among the comments I have received from clients are:
- “you did a marvellous job”
- “very impressive”
- “I left the meeting feeling confident that I had made the right decision in contacting Mills & Reeve”
Our commercial disputes team is top ranked by both Chambers UK and Legal 500, which states “clients laud highly rated partners Graeme Menzies and Jamie Wheatley and the strong team of associates at Mills & Reeve LLP, including Helen Prandy and Robert Renfree.”
