Event description

Branding is the process of creating a strong, positive perception of a company. A combination of the service/ products, logo, design, communications, people and culture all create an image or brand that sets one company apart from competitors, and makes it more appealing to customers.

A good brand becomes a marker of the quality and origin of your product/service and successful branding requires strong protection. A successful brand is more likely to be imitated, which risks its market share, or worse, it could devalue the brand you’ve built and destroy customer trust. In the next Inspiring Women in Tech webinar, we look at some of the fundamentals of building a brand, and protecting that brand.

Join us for a start-to-finish conversation about business branding, whether you are running a business or thinking of starting one. We will be joined by:

Branding expert, Lesley Gulliver. Lesley is managing director of award winning strategic brand consultancy The Engine Room, who are consultants and specialists in the industry. Lesley will be talking to us about the building blocks for successful branding and where you should start with yours.

A real success story, Carol McGrotty. Carol is head of transformation and operations at Vapour Media Ltd, a cloud technology company, and will be sharing her story and how Vapour has used branding to its advantage in the tech sector.

Our intellectual property specialist, Claire O’Brien. Now that you have all the tips you need to create a successful brand, Claire is here to help you safeguard it! She will be talking us through what intellectual property is and how you can protect yours.
