When recruiting global talent, getting immigration requirements right is a highly critical, hugely complex process. Our team of specialists can help you create the international, mobile workforce you need.

Immigration law is both complicated and constantly evolving making it a challenging area to navigate. But it's vital to get right, with serious consequences for organisations that fail to comply.

Whether you are looking to appoint a senior executive, facilitate a team relocation, expedite a visa application, conduct an audit, or source support in managing your sponsor duties, our collaborative team of experts can help.

We have built a worldwide network of leading independent, full service law firms, so you get on-the-ground country-specific and international advice to support your global mobility plans.

Our lawyers

Our specialist lawyers can resolve complex mobility issues efficiently, using our extensive experience of the immigration system, Home Office contacts and international network of advisers.

Our experience

We have substantial experience advising on a variety of immigration matters. Recent examples of our work are:

  • Supporting a university in preparing for a Home Office compliance audit. This included conducting a mock audit; reviewing policies, procedures and systems; delivering HR team training; and providing strategic advice on how to mitigate compliance failures and work with the Home Office.
  • Working with multiple NHS Trusts to provide advice to EU national staff on the implications of Brexit. We also ran briefing and Q&A sessions on the EU Settlement Scheme.
  • Advising a leading freewire technology company on registering as a sponsor under the points based system. We prepared the sponsor licence application and advised on the recruitment of skilled staff under the Tier 2 (General) and Tier 2 (Intra-Company Transfer) categories.
  • Acting as a Level 1 user on the sponsor management system for a leading software development company. We provided full-service immigration support, taking many day-to-day compliance issues off the client's desk.
  • Preparing judicial review proceedings for an individual who had been issued with a notice of removal from the UK. Following the preparation of legal representations, we were able to persuade the UK Border Force to reverse their decision.
