Family and children

We are a top-ranked UK children and family law team committed to achieving the best for you – tackling local, national and international issues, reducing conflict and offering legal advice.

Family law work takes many forms and has become increasingly complex but, whatever the issues you are facing, we never lose sight of the fact that every situation is different and that what you need from us is an understanding of your personal concerns and objectives.

We’re committed to reducing conflict wherever we can and to overcoming even the most difficult challenges. With our ability to call on expertise from colleagues in other disciplines across our firm, we'll help you find a way through whatever you’re facing so that you can look to the future with real confidence.

Our lawyers

Our nationally renowned team of dedicated family lawyers get to understand you and the issues you face. We then help resolve your issues in the way that suits you best.

Our experience

We have a wealth of experience dealing with the more complex family law issues. Our expertise includes advising and representing people on:

  • Divorce and separation
  • Wealth protection including pre-nups
  • Cohabitation
  • Family and children arrangements
  • Surrogacy
  • Business interests
  • Trusts
  • Pension sharing
  • International family law

We've been involved in ground-breaking cases where established legal principles have been challenged. You can be completely confident about and rely on our knowledge of the law and ability to advise you on how it applies to your specific circumstances.

But that’s not what makes us different. What sets us apart is our approach: the way we listen to and work with you to find the best way forward. We recognise that there’s nearly always a wider picture. That’s why all of our family lawyers are members of the national family justice organisation, Resolution, which promotes a constructive and cost-effective approach to family law issues. And that’s why we have experts qualified and able to act as mediators, collaborative practitioners, arbitrators and parenting coordinators. It is this experience and approach that makes us stand out from the crowd.

  • Business owners, entrepreneurs and their partners
