Blue Smile chosen as Mills & Reeve Cambridge office charity for the year

Following a staff vote, Mills & Reeve is pleased to confirm its support for Blue Smile as its Cambridge office charity for 2017/2018. Employees will spend the next two years raising money in a number of ways, including sporting challenges, dress down days and cake sales. 

Blue Smile is a Cambridgeshire children's charity that provides arts-based, long-term therapy and mentoring in schools to help troubled youngsters fulfil their true potential and have happier childhoods. It can quite simply be life-changing and so far we’ve helped transform the lives of more than 400 children in eight schools. 

Blue Smile offers counselling to children aged three to 13 experiencing a variety of issues such as bullying, depression, neglect or abuse at home. Its aim is to provide support early in a child’s life, by helping them to deal with painful feelings and experiences and learn better coping strategies using an arts-based approach. Such early intervention can really turn things around for them and break the cycle of deprivation.
