Mills & Reeve win again with diversity and inclusion award

We have been awarded Best Diversity and Inclusion Initiative by the Legal Education and Training Group (LETG).

We won the award for our work around diversity and inclusion across their seven offices for two specific projects; increasing the number of female partners and an initiative to increase Black, Asian and racially minoritised representation across the firm.

This comes on the back of the Law Society asking Dawn Brathwaite to attend The Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in May for her ongoing work around diversity and inclusion, the firm winning Legal Week Marketing Innovation Award for their website www.cohabitation-law.co.uk, winning a Best Trainer award from Law.Careers.netand being named for the 15th consecutive year in The Sunday Time Top 100 Employers list.

Rachel Donath, head of learning and development said: “A core principal of our work on diversity and inclusion starts with our desire to become a firm that truly represents the communities in which we work. We don’t think of either of these projects as a one-off strategy but more part of our ongoing strategy to be a great place to work. We are hugely proud to accept this award as it affects everything we do and opens up opportunities to all.”
