Thank you message via precision technology

As reported in Farmers Weekly - a huge 34 metre tribute was sprayed on an airfield using technology farmers use in the fields.  The spray pattern (or letters in this case) were mapped out and uploaded onto the software for the sprayer to say “Thanks NHS” and “Thanks Farmers” during the coronavirus pandemic.

A great way of showing appreciation and thanks to the NHS and Farmers, and demonstrating the sophisticated technology being used to accurately target spraying.

Farmers will be very aware of the benefits of using precision technology to help reduce costs of spraying crops and the associated benefits to the environment.

The agricultural sector uses a lot of innovative technology to develop better practices and to find solutions to farming problems – drone technology is another popular and practical example of this.

The technology being used now is contributing to data driven farming, which will help to grow crops more efficiently and sustainably – a vital step forward in feeding a growing population.
