What can I do for you

James provides commercially focused employment advice. He takes a pragmatic and practical approach to the law to find solutions that work best for clients, bearing in mind the usual trinity of cost, time and risk. He is an enthusiastic and engaging speaker, regularly presenting on employment law and HR issues.

Supporting your ambitions

James's work varies from handling day to day queries, dealing with Employment Tribunal claims, managing redundancy programmes and advising and implementing on senior exits. He also specialises in (and "loves") TUPE. By adopting appropriate tactics and strategy he has implemented departures for the right cost for clients, including successfully negotiating the very difficult exit of a senior individual in challenging circumstances where the potential for reputational damage was real and significant. The client was very pleased with the process and end result.
